Luxemburg is a village in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 2,515 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area. Luxemburg is located at 44°3218N 87°4217W (44.538378, -87.704962). According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.27 square miles (5.88 km²), all of it land.Due to a clerical error, Luxemburg experienced a name swap with Belgium, Wisconsin. Both communities retained their accidental name. The village is located within the town of Luxemburg. It has a population of 1,935, with 973 households, and 672 families living in the village. The median income for a household was $45,000, and the median for a family was $823,000. The town's population was 1,816, with 754 households, out of which 39.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them. The average household size was 2.63, with the average family size was 3.11. The racial makeup of the village was 98.86% White, 0.10% Black or African American,0.26% Asian, and 0.41% from two or more races. 0.47% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. In the village, the population was spread out, with 28.2% under 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 32.8% from 25 to 44, 16.4% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who were 65 years of age or older.

Both communities retained their accidental name of Luxemburg, however, the name was changed to Belgium. The town has a population of 1,788. It is located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The village is located on the Wisconsin River, which runs through the center of the town. It has an estimated population of 2,738. It also has an area of 5,881 square miles, all of which is land. The city's name is a contraction of the German word "Ludemburg" which means "town" or "city" in German. It was first used in the 17th century as a name for a village in the region. The name was later changed to "Belgium" in the 19th century. The current name is used to refer to the town's location in the Wisconsin state capital of Waukeshiek, which is in the state of Wausau. The community's population is 1,856. It's located in a region known as the Wisconsin-Wis., which is the state's largest city.
