Berlin is a town in Green Lake County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 5,524 at the 2000 census. The City of Berlin is located mostly within the town. There is another Town of Berlin in Marathon County. The town has a total area of 30.0 square miles (77.6 km²), of which, 29.6 square miles. (76.8 km²) of it is land and 0.3 square miles of it (0.8km²) (1.07%) is water. The median income for a household in the town was $44,659, and the median income. for a family was $48,750. The mayor is a member of the Wisconsin National Guard and served in the Army during the Iraq War.

The town is located on the New York-Massachusetts border. It has a population of 1,788. It is one of the smallest towns in the state, with a total population of 2,816. It was the largest town in New Hampshire in the early 1900s, when the population was 1,817. It had a population decline to 1,917 in the 1930s. The population has grown to 2,938 in the 2010s. It also has a growth spurt in the 1980s and 1990s, with the population reaching 1,961 in the latter half of the 1990s. In the early 2000s, the population reached 1,981, and in the mid-2000s, it reached 2,982. The current population is 1,991, according to the United States Census Bureau. it is the smallest town in the State of New Hampshire, and the largest in the New Hampshire Division of Game and Fish, with an area of 29.8 square miles of land and 0.8 sq miles of water. It lies on the Massachusetts Turnpike, which is the state's main north-south highway.
