At the 2010 census, the village had a total population of 6,119, with 5,692 housing units. The community is registered in the census as IslamorADA, Village of Islands. The population was spread out, with 13.86% under the age of 18, 4.5% from 18 to 18, 27.5 percent from 25 to 44, 35.6% from 45 to 64, and 65% from 65 to 65 years of age. A memorial, including the ashes of over 300 victims, exists today at Overseas Highway mile marker 82. It was the location of one of the stations of the Overseas Railroad. It is located in the U.S. state of Florida and was once part of the United States territory of St. Lucie. It has a population of about 6,000 people, with the majority of its residents living on the island. The population of IslamorADA was 6,120 at the 2010 Census, with most of the residents living in the village of Islam or the community island of Upper Matecumbe Key, which was incorporated in 1997. It was not considered the usual library as it offered couches, tea and coffee. Today the building is a little bigger than it was when it first opened its doors in 1938. It is also home to an array of artworks, including six bas reliefs by Joan Van Breeman, which were commissioned by the WPA in the 1940s and 1950s. There is also a large collection of photographs, many of which were taken in the early 1960s and early 1970s, which can be viewed on the library's website. The History of Diving Museum opened in 2005. Robbie's Marina is well known for allowing guests to feed tarpon live fish. The USS Spiegel Grove, now an artificial reef, is also a popular tourist attraction. It has exhibits about Diving With a Purpose and the USS Spiegel.
