Le Center

Le Center is a city in Le Sueur County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,517 at the 2020 census. It is located 26 miles from Mankato and 62 miles from Minneapolis. Minnesota State Highways 99 and 112 are two of the main routes in the community. Le Center has a humid continental climate (Köppen Dfa). Summers are warm and humid, while winters are cold and snowy. The city has a total area of 1.51 square miles (3.91 km²), all of which is land. The county seat is in Le Center and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2010, there were 2,499 people, 915 households, and 629 families residing in the city. As of 2000 the median income for a household in theCity was $38,690, and the medianincome for a family was $47,143. The gender makeup of the city was 50.9% male and 49.1% female. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.25. In the city, the median age was 34.0 years, with 28.0% of residents under the age of 18; 28.4% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 22.2% were from 25 to 44; and 12.6% were 65 years of age or older. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates the city's population will rise to 2,500 by the end of the decade.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.51 square miles (3.91 km²) Le Center is located 26 miles from Mankato and 62 miles from Minneapolis. Minnesota State Highways 99 and 112 are two of the main routes in the community. The city is located on the banks of the Red River, which flows through the center of the city. The Red River is a tributary of the Little Red River that flows through Le Center. Le Center was founded in the 18th century as a center for the mining of copper and other minerals. It was named after the town of Le Center, Minnesota, which is located in the town's eastern part. The town's name is derived from the name "Le Center", which means "the center" or "the place" in German. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates the city's population at 1,071 in 2010. It has a population of 1,081 in the 2011 Census. The population of the 2010 Census was 1,091 in Le Center and 1,069 in the city of Manksato, both in the state of Minnesota.

As of the census of 2010, there were 2,499 people, 915 households, and 629 families residing in the city. As of 2000, the median income for a household was $38,690. The city's population was 51.6% male and 46.7% female. The gender makeup of the city was 50.9%male and 49.1%female. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.25. The median age in theCity was 32.8 years. The City's population is 73.8% White, 1.07% African American, 0.67% Asian, 10.64% from two or more races, and 0.5% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 21.0% of the population. In the city, the average age is 34.0 years, and the median age is 40.2 years. It has a population of 2,517 people, and in the 2020 Census there will be 2,513 people, in the City. The population density is 1,498.21 inhabitants per square mile (578.5/km²). There were 999 housing units at an average density of 594.6 per squaremile (229.6/ km²) The city has a median age of 32.4 years, with 28.4% of residents under the age of 18; 8.4%. were between the ages of 18 and 24; 28.2%. were from 25 to 44; 22.2% were from 45 to 64; and 12.6%. were 65 or older.

Climate

Le Center has a humid continental climate (Köppen Dfa) Summers are warm and humid, while winters are cold and snowy. Le Center is located in the province of Le Manche, in the state of Haut-Holland. The city has a population of around 2,000 people. It is located on the island of Hauts-de-Seine, which is in the region of the same name as Le Monde, and has a similar climate to the rest of the province. It has a high level of literacy and a low level of illiteracy. The town's population is about 2,200 people, who live in the town of Le Center. It also has a low rate of literacy, and a high rate of illiterate people, with the majority of the population living in the city of Le Monde and Haut De Seine. The region has a warm climate, with summers being warm and  humid, and winters being cold and snowy. The climate is very similar to other parts of the country, with warm summers and cold winters.
