Cherryfield is a town in Washington County, Maine, United States on the Narraguagus River. It was named for the wild cherries that once peppered the banks of the river. The town bills itself as the "Blueberry Capital of the World". Roughly 75 acres (300,000 m2) on both sides of the. river are a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places known as the Cherryfield Historic District. This district comprises a collection of period structures dating from c.1750-1890. In 1826,the part of Steuben known as Narraguaguagus was annexed onto Cherryfield. It is home to two breeding pairs of bald eagles. In 2010, there were 1,232 people, 570 households, and 332 families living in the town. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 44.99 square miles (116.52 km²), of which, 44.44 square. miles (115.10 km²) of it is land and 0.55 sq miles (1.42km²) is water. The population of Cherryfield was 1,107 at the 2020 census, and is expected to grow to 1,200 by the end of the decade. In the town, the median age was 48.8 years, with 19.2% of residents were under the age of 18; 4.5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 20.7% were from 25 to 44; 32.1% are from 45 to 64; and 23.6% are 65 or older.

The town has an estimated population of 1,000. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates the town's population at 1,100. The population of the town was 1,071 at the 2010 U.N. Census. It has a population of 2,072. The Town has an elevation of 1.077 meters (4,788 feet) The Town is home of two breeding pair of bald eagle. The area has a elevation of 4,074 meters (11,838 feet) of land. It is the only town in the state to have two bald eagle breeding pairs in the same place at the same time. It also has one bald eagle-breeding pair in the nearby town of Doylestown. It was the first town to have a bald eagle population in the U.A.E. and the second to have one in the State of New Mexico. It had one bald eagle breeding pair in 2008. It now has two breeding eagles in the town. The state has one breeding eagle-pair in the National Park Service, which is the largest bald eagle colony in the world. It's the only place in the country with two breeding bald eagle pairs in a single location. There are no bald eagle nesting pairs in New Mexico, but there is one in Wyoming.
